in the Wallsby Tim Everitt click to watch "Rats in the Wall" - click to download Windows Media Player When I heard of the 48 hour festival, I knew I'd only be able to make the least possible effort, so I thought of an avante guard film that would be an hour long and just one take, with almost nothing happening. Luckily for the viewer, I only had five minutes of tape. Tim Everitt Tim A. Everitt holds an M.F.A. from U.S.C.'s graduate film program, and a B.F.A. from Drake University's Theatre Department. He is an award winning motion picture writer/director and animator. His films include "Too Fast, Too Young", starring Michael Ironside and Kasia Figura, and "Fatally Yours", starring Rick Rossovich, Roddy McDowell, George Lazenby and Sage Stallone. Films he has written and directed have won major awards at national and international competitions, including the Houston International Film Festival, the New York International Film and Television Festival, the Chicago Film Festival, the Independent Film Producers of America "Cindy" Award, and many others. His films have been sold for exhibition worldwide, and have been shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, he has served as a visual effects artist and lead animator on major studio films including "Collateral Damage", starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Pluto Nash", starring Eddie Murphy, "Red Planet" starring Val Kilmer, "Deep Blue Sea" starring Samuel Jackson, and many others. He was the Senior Animator on the new 3D "The Beatles' Yellow Submarine Adventure", as well as on national television programs such as "Babylon 5", "The Cape" and "Honey I Shrunk the Kids." He has worked in the motion picture industry as a Director of Photography, including shooting green-screen special effects photography for "Demolition Man", starring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes. He served many years as a commercial director and cinematographer, creating regional and national commercials for Fortune 500 companies including 3M, Union Oil, Xerox, The Wherehouse, and many others. Additionally, he has been the animation director for many award-winning national commercials including "Got Milk/Mario", Dodge Neon and Global Crossing. Prior to coming to Hollywood, he worked in Public Broadcasting, shooting programs such as "You're Not A Hero 'Til You're Sung", featuring Penny Marshall and Linda Carter, for which he won a Regional Emmy. |
